NWTF Invites Students to Apply for 2025 Scholarship Program
EDGEFIELD, S.C. — The National Wild Turkey Federation is now accepting applications for its 2025 Dr. James Earl Kennamer Scholarship. The scholarship recognizes and rewards a current senior in high school for their outstanding academic achievement, community involvement and leadership roles.
Through this program, local NWTF chapters award scholarships to outstanding students in their communities. Local chapter winners may also compete at the state level, with the potential to advance to the national scholarship selection. The national NWTF Dr. James Earl Kennamer Scholarship, sponsored by Mossy Oak, awards a $10,000 scholarship to one exceptional student every year.
"The NWTF is proud to have supported over $5.8 million in academic scholarships to students across North America who demonstrate a commitment to conservation, academic excellence and who possess the leadership skills to make a difference," said Mandy Harling, NWTF national director of Education and Outreach programs. "We believe these young, determined conservationists will carry the NWTF mission forward for generations to come."

Named after Dr. James Earl Kennamer, NWTF’s former chief conservation officer, this scholarship honors his dedication to wildlife conservation and his pivotal role in advancing the NWTF’s conservation mission across the United States, Canada and Mexico.
