Join the Fun: NWTF Chapters Host Events During Conservation Week
EDGEFIELD, S.C. — As the National Wild Turkey Federation prepares to celebrate its sixth annual Conservation Week, Sept. 20-26, NWTF chapters across the country are inviting hunters, conservationists and families to join them for a variety of events celebrating conservation and North America's hunting heritage.
From hunter education events to mentored hunts, NWTF events provide people the opportunity to connect with the life-changing power of the outdoors.
NWTF's Conservation Week serves as an annual opportunity for the NWTF and its chapters to highlight the importance of conserving wildlife habitat, preserving our hunting heritage and engaging the next generation of outdoor enthusiasts. While conservation is a year-round endeavor, the week is a chance to learn more about the NWTF's conservation initiatives, wild turkey research, partnerships, conservation projects people can visit and more.
